And I'm back! I just returned from an extraordinary New England vacation filled with weddings, good meals, seascapes, and more. I have plenty of food-stories to share, but I'll start off with an "appetizer" of sorts to whet your appetite. When we're in New Hampshire, we tend to gravitate toward comfort foods and try to ward off anything that may appear too healthy. Our go-to cocktail hour on the tranquil Lake Wentworth consisted of (clockwise): carrots and snap peas (the token vegetables), marinated feta and Armenian string cheese with Stonewall Kitchen Mango Chutney, and Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits, Lipton's onion dip (the one and only), Aged Cheddar and Sour Cream and Sea Salt Waffle Cut Cape Cod Chips, Shed IPA, and water (for hydration).
