Our Wolfeboro, NH vacation always includes a trip to Garwoods, an American and seafood-food inspired restaurant overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.
The restaurant reminds you of being inside a luxury yacht or on top of a Chris-Craft boat with a beautiful wooden bar. We started our meal with French Martinis and chatted with locals at the bar.
For our main courses we shared the Grilled Salmon with Five Spice Cabbage and Miso Dressing and the Braised Short Rib Lettuce Wraps with Homemade Kimchi.
It was the perfect amount of food, because, of course, we ate the entire loaf of hot, steamy bread prior to our entrees arriving. Both dishes were well-seasoned and flavorful.
Somehow, we managed to find room for dessert; a decadent Peanut Butter Brownie. Garwoods is a must-visit whenever you're in Wolfeboro. During the daytime, I recommend sitting outside on the dock and or sitting at the sea-inspired bar once the sun goes down.
